When it comes to the Euro debt crisis, "nothing has been solved," explains Hayek Institute president Barbara Kolm. "The situation is as worse as it was at the beginning, and we literally burned money trying to bail it out."
Reason Magazine's Matt Welch sat down with Kolm to discuss the Eurozone's financial issues and what it will take to bring back Austrian economics to Austria.
Kolm points out what Austrian economists have always known, that redistributive welfare states do not work and that there is no place in Europe for a one-size-fits-all model of government and economics.
